“The Age of Disclosure”: UFO Documentary Unveils Government Secrets and Alien Claims

 

The Age of Disclosure is a groundbreaking 2025 documentary film directed and produced by Dan Farah that tackles one of the most controversial subjects in modern culture: alleged government cover-ups of extraterrestrial life and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). The movie brings together high-level testimony from former military, intelligence, and government officials, offering viewers what its creators describe as the most compelling account yet of decades-long secrecy and withheld truths about UFOs and non-human intelligence. 

Released in theaters and on Amazon Prime Video on November 21, 2025, The Age of Disclosure premiered earlier that year at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film & TV Festival. The documentary runs approximately 109 minutes and is narrated by one of its central interviewees, Luis “Lue” Elizondo, a former Department of Defense official known for his work with the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).

At its core, The Age of Disclosure explores claims of an “80-year global cover-up” involving UAPs—phenomena formerly referred to as UFOs—and hidden programs designed to retrieve and potentially reverse-engineer advanced non-human technology. The film takes viewers beyond typical alien theories by presenting testimony from 34 individuals with direct knowledge of government programs and investigations related to UAP phenomena, asserting that unidentified craft and unexplained objects have repeatedly operated in sensitive airspace, including over restricted military and nuclear facilities. 

A significant portion of the documentary focuses on interviews with high-profile insiders and elected officials. Among those featured are:

Luis Elizondo, former Department of Defense official associated with AATIP, who claims governments have long concealed evidence of non-human intelligence.

Jay Stratton, former Defense Intelligence Agency official and director of the government’s UAP Task Force, who alleges firsthand sightings of non-human craft and beings. 

Marco Rubio, Secretary of State and former U.S. senator, featured discussing instances of unidentified objects over restricted nuclear sites. 

General James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, offering his perspective based on decades of service. 

Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Mike Rounds, and Congressman André Carson, who support greater transparency around UAP disclosures. 

The documentary also touches on bipartisanship in the effort for disclosure, connecting its narrative to ongoing congressional hearings and proposed legislation aimed at compelling governments to release more information about UAPs. Its interviewees argue that public awareness and transparency are essential for understanding the scope and implications of these phenomena, suggesting that UAPs could pose significant national security concerns or even transformative technological opportunities.
